April 8-14
This week, we further connect to one of April’s main experiences- floating in between the dualities of endings and beginnings. Governed by the number 9, this month is about recognizing the completion of a journey: relationships coming to a close, ending a specific behavior or thought, finishing a job or project and prepping a new one. We stay focused on the new experiences that will arise. There’s a gorgeous saying I always turn to in times of starting and finishing,
“Barn’s burnt down…Now I can see the moon.”
We place more emphasis on our emotions this week. Driven by our feelings, we engage our desire to investigate and question our current circumstances. WHY? and HOW? pepper our dialogue and thoughts, particularly in the beginning of the week. It’s an attempt to bring sense to the endings and come up with a plan for May, but now’s not the time. Stay present. Leave room for the mystery and take each day slowly. Our plans will be solidified by April 21st, when a new moon arrives to illuminate and answer all of our current questioning.
May will begin a brand new 1-9 numerological cycle, governed by the year’s 5 energy of new experiences. In many ways, May will feel like we’re stepping into a new life. Until then, we will form a deep connection with our new reality throughout this month & prepare for it by letting go of lingering hindrances. When we focus on the old, with our gaze turned to the past, we become near-sighted, we miss little details that have always been there. As we shift our eyes toward the future, things shine in a new way. We see ourselves and our path with new perspective.
Burn down the barn…the stars are waiting to be noticed…
