Friday’s full moon brought a sense of completion to the questions and issues that arose July 1st. A wholeness was welcomed into our plane and a sureness to the path we are on. With the crabby cancer energy still in our fields, our sensitivity and emotions continue to run high.
This week we will continue to become aware of the core dualities within ourselves. Our sensitivity shifts from our relationships with others to our relationship with our higher self. August will bring the butterfly-like 3 energy that draws on creativity and self-expression. As we ready our path for this new energy, we continue to balance our foundation by learning more about what’s holding us back and what will drive us forward. Past & Present is a universal duality facing us. At all times we consider this dichotomy, but currently it is in the foreground of our experience.
Many of us have made serious changes in a key area of our life that thoroughly push us forward into our new plane. Whenever this happens, it brings us back to a childlike state. We see the world with an innocence, marveling at the wonder of it all. It also leaves us feeling vulnerable, without a safety net, such as the security we spoke of last week. We will feel more connected to our inner child as July comes to an end. The cancer-informed sensitivity will aid this journey. This may cause us to pause on our memories and draw upon the experiences we had as children that shaped our beliefs and behaviors. The answer to this duality is patience. Be patient with your current maturation. You are doing it at your own pace. There is no template or deadline. Patience reaps rewards.
Take time to play, to be amused, to socialize with friends. Reward yourself with the love that you would bestow on any child. I’ve always loved the word “carefree” and often wondered why it tends to describe children’s experience rather than adults’. When you break it down, it simply means free of care, or more specifically, free of responsibility. This can be a more challenging state as an adult, since there’s always something for which to be concerned. Embrace the heart of this word and let it unlock your experience for the last half of July. Go to that place where your imagination soars, where you stop editing yourself or experience, and simply let go, reach out your arms, look up at the sky and twirl.
